New Korea Electric Co.,Ltd.(NKE) was established in 1966. Today NKE is a leading transformer manufacturer of all types of transformers, including super-high voltage types, by extending and improving facilities, with constant technical skill development and rich experience.
Throughout its 32 year history, NKE has constantly strove to further its R&D, quality control, technical skills, and improve and extend its facilities. Due to its reputation for producung high quality products, NKE has not only satisfied its domestic customers but now services customers in over 50 countries. NKE now services customers in North America, the Middle East, and Southeast Asia.
Demonstrating its brilliant growth in the transformer market, NKE was awarded the prize of "Industrial Medal of Merit"in 1978 and won the "$5 Million Export Tower" in 1991 in Korea. Those prizes was designed for the companies in Korea which made great contribution to Korean economy.
NKE has always made great efforts to develop high-quality goods by constantly investing in R&D. In 1995, NKE established a research center, based on many years of experience and excellent skills in transformer manufacturing. NKE strives for a better human- centered environment and puts its skills and experience to practical use to be a better equipped organization that is ready to take on the 21st century.
In the meantime , NKE has concentrated on strict quality control which requires carefully-selected materials, the latest facilites, excellent production technology , ratinalization of the production process, and zero-defect on the basis of many skills.As a result, it won the "Industrial Medal for a Person/Company of Merits in Quality Management" in 1996, which was designed for the company that contributed to make great achievetments in quality management, followed by both "KS Marking Approvals" in 1996 and 1976 and the " Stone Tower Industrial Medal" in 1985. Encouraged by these results, we at NKE have tried to repay our customers by guaranteeing a safe and convenient environment for power -supply.
Also, in the process of establishing a more perfect quality system, NKE acquired the " ISO 9001 certification " in 1995 , which made it clear to provide its customers with confidence and satisfaction in its products.
To supply better results for customers, all the employees at NKE collectively have made every effort to promote management innovation to have their company strengthened in the world market by improving quality and productivity as much as they could.
